Still & Moving Center is a community-based, locally-owned studio that believes in the importance of holistic health and well being above external beauty. Our well-trained staff of yoga teachers offer classes for all levels and physical abilities that focus on long-term health above short-term results.
Yoga is an ancient science of physical, mental and emotional health that has endured and evolved into a practice excellently suited to finding balance in our modern lives. These days most of us spend 6-10 hours a day sitting in a chair, hunched over a computer or other device, bombarded by information from all directions leaving our bodies & minds imbalanced. We’ve found yoga to be among the best practices for realigning our bodies, minds and hearts so that we can be more effective and present to enjoy our passions and spend time with our loved ones. The best part is, ANYONE can do it: if you can breathe you can do some form of yoga!

Our yoga shala is a community built upon a mutual love of the art & science of yoga and a mutual respect for each other. Here are some guidelines to follow.
Please arrive on time or a few minutes early to sign in & get a spot in class!
- If you’re new to the studio we recommend you to register for your first class online to expedite the check in process.
If you arrive a few minutes late please wait until the initial “Om” mantra is complete then enter quietly. The late entry cut-off time of 15 minutes. If you are more than 15 mins late you are not encouraged to join a class for your safety & respect of the other students and staff.
Cleanliness shows a respect for your body and our shared space. Please leave sand at the beach & do not wear strong scents or perfumes. Strong body odor of all kinds can be distracting to your fellow practitioners.
Keeping voices down when you are passing an ongoing class is helpful. You’ll appreciate the same when you’re resting in savasana!
