Help Yoga Hawaii put an end to human trafficking

Yoga Stops Traffick Rotating Header Image

YOGA STOPS TRAFFICK is a one-day global yoga event to raise awareness about human trafficking in India. Yoga Hawaii will be participating by collecting donations forĀ  Odanadi Seva Trust, which has been working with exploited women and children in and around Mysore, India, the world-famous birthplace of Astanga Yoga.

Over the past 20 years Odanadi Seva Trust has rescued and rehabilitated more than 1850 children, carried out 57 brothel raids and brought 137 traffickers to justice. With your help, compassion and cooperation, Odanadi will continue to provide a place of sanctuary for the survivors of human trafficking and offer them a chance to rebuild their lives.

On March 13, 2010, yogis around the world will roll out their mats for a mass sun salutation, to take a stand against trafficking and show their support to its millions of victims.

All classes at Yoga Hawaii on Saturday, March 13, will honor these efforts. You can add a donation to your class ticket or pick up a postcard with the website address to donate directly to YogaStopsTraffick.org. However, you don’t have to wait until March 13…donate today!

Donations will be collected to send to YogaStopsTraffick.org, or you can donate directly. This is an optional donation.
