Yoga Hawaii goes to Japan in October

big_buddhaYoga Hawaii owners Tania Jo Ingrahm and Rupali are thrilled to be returning to Japan again this year for another round of workshops in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto.

These are very special times for us, when we get to reconnect with over 100 graduates of our yoga teacher training programs here in Hawaii. Many have gone on to open their own yoga studios. We’re so proud when we get to meet their students, some who have also trained with us!

Once again we’ll be hosted by Yoga Generation, on whose website you can find all the registration information for these events. Find all the details here. We’ve also been invited to present at Yoga Generation’s exciting YOGAsmile conference, held at a beautiful temple in the sacred city of Kyoto.

Our itinerary will include:

Saturday, October 10 – Tokyo

  • Saturday, 9:30-11:30AM: “Unlocking the Secrets of Ashtanga” (practice and workshop)

  • Saturday, 2:30-4:30PM: “Anatomy of Breath / Alignment of Standing & Balance Poses” (workshop format)
Do you know how your body breathes? We’ll explore our breathing apparatus and then take our discoveries into the alignment of the standing/balance poses. Adjusting skills will be taught

Sunday, October 11 – Tokyo
