Seva means selfless service.
We believe yoga should be accessible to everyone regardless of age, race, ability or income, so we created the Seva program. Seva participants are community members who are passionate about pursuing yoga studies and have free time to volunteer but lack the financial means at this time to attend regular classes. We refer to our work-trade program with the Sanskrit word seva to convey the commitment to service without attachment to results or rewards. Sevas work 1 to 4 hours a week for the studio cleaning, checking in students for classes, flyering or applying their unique skills to help the studio and this community thrive in exchange for free yoga classes!
